Welcome Message from the IST President to the new teachers and researchers of IST
The Shaping the Future Program is part of a set of initiatives that IST offers to Assistant Professors and Assistant Researchers during their tenure-track period. The goal is to provide them with a full integration into the academic experience of their Department and of IST and to give them, unequivocally, a set of ethical values and good institutional practices, as well as a strategic perspective of their career development.
These conditions, which are often general for all IST Faculty and Researchers, also include some particular benefits for those in the tenure-track period, namely the fundamental and complementary training components, which are oriented towards increasing the probabilities of success in the tenure-track period.
