The mentoring and monitoring of Assistant Professors and Researchers during their probationary period aims to support their integration and career development at Técnico, in line with the principles defined in the Progrmme “Shaping the Future”, through joint actions of:

• Mentoring
• Probationary Period Monitoring Committee (CAPE, in Portuguese)
• Annual and interim review of activity during the probationary period.

The program also supports the training of mentors to ensure effective advice on values and best practices, and promete full integration of professors and researchers in probation into the academic life of Técnico.
